歌詞翻譯 | 百老匯音樂劇 Hamilton – Your Obedient Servant

這首曲目的標題和副歌都參考了現實中 Aaron Burr 和 Alexander Hamilton 寫給彼此的、引導至他們著名對決的信件，當時的每封信件都以 “I have the honor to be Your Obdt. St” 為署名作結。在 Burr 熟悉的音樂動機後，便以 3 / 4 拍為節拍，轉為小步舞曲、華爾滋的形式，更加強了兩人以文字交鋒、共舞的感覺。

後話

這首真的也是很精彩，而且看著兩人從一開始的朋友關係一路以來各自的角色發展到現在即將要決鬥，就覺得 Lin-Manuel Miranda 真的是太會寫劇本了（再次讚嘆 XD ），用文字互相兜圈、歌詞中唱著的署名還完全跟歷史上的真實信件一樣，真的很有趣也編得很厲害 >///<
