這首 The Election of 1800 曲目將音樂劇主題又拉回政治，討論著 1800 年選舉中的不同黨派候選人，也帶出這場選舉帶點苦、帶點爭議的性質，眾人都好奇、期盼著知道 Hamilton 在此次選戰中的立場。
