在這首 We Know 中，不祥的曲調呼應著先前的曲目 Say No To This ，也以此作為暗示預告了這首歌將會帶出的劇情走向， Jefferson 、 Madison 、 Burr 三人帶著挪用公款的證據去找 Hamilton ， 而 Hamilton 則選擇公開他和 Maria Reynolds 的外遇關係作為回應。
