這首 Cabinet Battle #1 以饒舌爭霸戰 (rap battle) 的型態，在以 Hamilton 為首的聯邦主義者和以 Jefferson 作為代表的民主共和黨這兩派之間，帶出了兩黨制系統的形成，

溫馨小提醒:
1. 如果你是還沒看過、正在猶豫要不要看的話 (看就對了不用猶豫XD)，可以考慮先什麼都不知道的看完一次音樂劇、回來查歌詞意思和各種細節安排解釋之後，再看一次音樂劇，內心小宇宙就可以爆炸和被驚豔很多次 XD

“mad as a hatter” 是英文口語片語，通常有完全瘋了、徹底瘋了的意思。
最容易讓人聯想到的可能是愛麗絲夢遊仙境故事中的角色瘋帽客，但其實在更早之前 1829 年的雜誌 issue of Blackwood’s Edinburgh Magazine 就有出現過這個用法，主要是因為 1800 年代的製帽者們在製帽過程中常接觸化學物質汞，使他們出現震顫等神經疾病，由此衍伸出了這個說法。

這段老實說當時聽的時候真的事幾乎都聽不懂，現在終於有點知道他們在吵甚麼 (?) 了哈哈哈，而且用 rap battle 的形式演出國會辯論真是意外的適合 XD 但是詳細的計畫內容和一些相關背景我還是沒有讀的很懂，如果有因此翻譯不佳的部分再請見諒指正 >__< 謝謝!
