這首 The Election of 1800 曲目將音樂劇主題又拉回政治,討論著 1800 年選舉中的不同黨派候選人,也帶出這場選舉帶點苦、帶點爭議的性質,眾人都好奇、期盼著知道 Hamilton 在此次選戰中的立場。

講完 Hamilton 家的親情、愛情之後,又在這個曲目回到政治主題, Jefferson 從一開始在那邊說 “可以回來講政治了嗎” 的語氣就很好笑,然後最後還要嗆一下 Burr ,真的是很煩 XD
